Responsibility and Innovation for a Sustainable Future

At O.C.S. Alberici, sustainability is both a tangible commitment and a journey of continuous growth. Since 2018, we’ve been progressively integrating eco-friendly practices into our daily operations and production processes. This green evolution is not only a response to today’s environmental challenges but also a forward-looking strategy based on responsibility and innovation.

We began our journey by introducing eco-friendly vehicles and energy-efficient LED lighting in our facilities. In 2019, we took another step forward by installing a corporate water dispenser and distributing reusable metal gadgets, significantly reducing single-use plastic consumption. In 2020, we completed our first photovoltaic system, which was expanded in 2022 along with the adoption of low-impact packaging materials.

In 2023, we installed a new photovoltaic system at our Ciliverghe facility and implemented sliding doors to improve building energy efficiency. In 2024, we reached a milestone with the release of our first “Carbon Check” report—a document that analyzes and quantifies our environmental impact and defines concrete goals for reducing it further.

Our photovoltaic systems now generate 55,120 kWh per year, allowing us to avoid the emission of over 93,000 kg of CO₂—the equivalent of planting more than 4,600 trees. And our commitment doesn’t stop here. We continue to research and implement new solutions to minimize our environmental footprint, convinced that a responsible company must look beyond profit—to the planet and to people.
